Walmart Shanghai is Coming …

Filed under: China Business — Shanghai @ 9:22 am

Walmart is coming to town I just read. Great, super, brilliant. It opens the 28th but it isn’t clear where yet. Let’s keep it like that.
One of the things I like about China is that there is still an abundance of pops & mom shops. Real shops, real people and if you are lucky real personal service. All this contrary to my own country where these shops have become museum pieces.
Sadly though, the world, when they can afford it, has decided to become one big shopping mall.
Here you can see how the mother of all supermarkets is spreading its wings.
